SPEIGHT’S TRIPLE HOP PILSNER
Speight’s Triple Hop Pilsner comprises distinct hop elements which give it an impressive flavour and depth, with the end result greater than the sum of its parts. Cubism, one of the most influential art styles of the early twentieth century, reflects this principle, where distinct elements were analysed, broken up and reassembled in a different form, representing the subject in a greater, more compelling context.
Triple Hop Pilsner is a hop-dominated brew using three distinct hops, Cascade, Green Bullet and Nelson Sauvin - one for bitterness at the beginning and two for aroma added later. It is a light golden colour true to the pilsner style, and the hops offer an initial hit of citrus fruit and fresh green hop character. By now your tolerance to bitterness has increased and perhaps beers that once impressed you with their flavour, bitter taste and hoppy aroma no longer have the same punch. It is now time to take the final step in this hop-heavy journey.
