SPRING VALLEY BREWERY COPELAND
Named in honour of Spring Valley Brewery’s founder, William Copeland, this beer is a new generation of a Bohemian-style pilsner, which at first sip tastes as you might expect, precisely as a pilsner should. With each further taste, the subtle is revealed and new flavours discovered, revealing an emerging complexity. All of which creates a beer that you will keep returning to. Spring Valley Brewery’s Copeland has umami and the sweetness of malt, an intriguingly complex blend of flavours, and the high scent and bitterness of aromatic hops.
Brewer Toshihiro Kamada studied brewing technology in Germany and during this time he visited Chez on numerous occasions where he learned a great deal about pilsner beers. This sparked his desire to create a superb pilsner in the German style, and this desire only grew stronger after he returned to Japan. Toshihiro exceeded his goal with the creation of this sessionable pilsner, Spring Valley Brewery Copeland.
