KOSCIUSZKO PALE ALE
Created in Jindabyne in 2009, Kosciuszko is a delightful pale ale that reflects the spirit and purity of the Snowy Mountains.
Kosciuszko Pale Ale is another Australian-style pale ale (4.5 % ABV) that had its origins in Jindabyne, Snowy Mountains, back in 2009. It was originally brewed (and served) at Banjo Paterson Hotel from a small brewing facility (600 litre size) at the hotel. It uses a blend of pale and Munich malts and only Australian hops (Pride of Ringwood in the kettle and Galaxy in the whirlpool) to create a delightful pale ale that reflects the spirit and purity of the Snowy Mountains. Think passionfruit freshness on the aroma. Within two years, increased demand for this ale made us start brewing it at the Camperdown Malt Shovel brewery for bottling and keg supply to other outlets. We now brew it at other breweries, including Little Creatures Geelong, in order to supply the market demands, especially in NSW and Victoria. We still brew at Banjos, and the ale is served directly from the tanks. You can’t get any fresher than that.
