KIRIN ICHIBAN 330ML
The flavor of beer brewed from 100% malt is usually described as strong and heavy, however as Kirin Ichiban is brewed only from the first press of the wort, the flavour is crisp, whilst maintaining the richness of the malt.
Kirin Ichiban lends itself well to food pairing, particularly with subtle and delicate flavours such as those found in Japanese dishes.
Kirin Ichiban symbolises the philosophy and techniques of Japanese cuisine. "Ichiban Dashi" is a basic stock widely used in Japanese cooking, an extract of the most flavorsome elements of ingredients such as kelp and katsuobushi (dried and fermented bonito flakes). It typifies the basic Japanese cooking technique of bringing out the pure taste of the ingredients and reflects one of the foundations of Japanese hospitality – offering patrons the finest flavours of the freshest ingredients.
